Danny Haber and Alon Gutman have been behind the evictions of SRO buildings in Oakland and San Francisco. After SRO tenants are displaced, the units are flipped into tech dorms. Fires have erupted in other buildings that they own in both cities. They use tech platforms to attract new tenants.
