Bay Area Evictors: The Harshawats →

The Harshawats bought a Dubuce Triangle property in San Francisco in a foreclosure sale at a distressed price. After buying the building they forced the previous owners out. Since then, they Ellis Act evicted an artist and his housemate. The Harshawat sons behind the eviction are “tech entrepeneurs.” Ironically, Emma Acker, the wife of Ish Harshawat and assistant curator of American Art at the De Young Museum, is also one of the evictors.
