Release Form -Anti-Eviction Mapping Project
The Tenants COVID-19 Resistance and Experiences Oral History Project is a program of the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project (AEMP). Recordings and transcripts resulting from interviews conducted for the project will be securely kept by the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project. Currently, the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project plans to make these available for community use and public dissemination through our online map, though we may develop other platforms in the future. This project is also a collaboration with other tenant’ right groups and the materials may be used in conjunction with the Cancel Rent campaign or by one of our collaborators (Tenant Together, Bay Area Rent Strike, Right to the City, etc.). Participation in the project is entirely voluntary.
Potential Risks: It is illegal for your landlord to retaliate against you for participating in this project, but it is possible that they will attempt to do so. If you like to remain anonymous, you may decline to have your photograph taken and/or name displayed. (Please note that this still does not guarantee absolute confidentiality).
I, the undersigned, have read the above and voluntarily donate to the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project full use of the information contained in the recordings made on [ date box ], transcripts of the recordings, and other materials collected during the interview. This donation does not preclude any use which I may want to make of the recordings myself.
This agreement may be revised or amended by mutual consent of the undersigned and a representative of the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project.

El Proyecto Oral de Inquilinos y sus Experiencias y Resistencias en COVID-19 es un programa de la colectiva de Mapeo Contra el Desalojo.
