The Sridhars own millions of dollars in property all over the bay area, including one building in Alameda with 33 families, whom the Sridhars (and their financial partner, Richard Strock) saw fit to evict en mass. The community organized and is resisting displacement, with the support of the Alameda Renters Coalition and the Alameda City Council. Matt gained notoriety by writing a letter to council, stating "I will tell you with certainty that if you pass rent control, I will SELL my property in Alameda and move on to improve another town.” That is exactly what any community can hope for!
Sridhar Equities, located in San Jose, CA, evolved from companies formed in 2001 by Matt Sridhar. His original companies offered services in real estate brokerage, property management & maintenance, and real estate finance. Now Sridhar Equities currently manages and develops real estate in the SF/Bay Area, Oakland, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and as well as other major metropolitan centers within the United States. Matt Sridhar, President
Matt Sridhar is the founder of Timi Properties and is responsible for overseeing the company's strategic investments and day to day operations in finance, development, brokerage and property management. Mr. Sridhar has over 10 years of experience in acquiring, financing, managing and developing real estate. As a licensed broker and general contractor, he frequently lectures for the City of San Jose. Mr. Sridhar holds an M.S. in Engineering Economics from Stanford University and B.S. in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Anjali Sridhar, Vice President of Property Management
Anjali Sridhar is the cofounder of Timi Properties and is responsible for growing and managing the property management business under TimiProperties. In this role, she manages leasing, rent collection, accounting, maintenance and renovations. Ms. Sridhar has over 10 years of experience in managing residential and commercial buildings throughout the SF/Bay Area. Her project management experience includes senior, director-level positions in Brooks Automation and KLA-Tencor. Ms. Sridhar holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science with honors from the University of California, Davis and is a licensed real estate salesperson.
