Wedgewood has been buying up hundreds of foreclosed properties throughout California, including 2928 Magnolia Street in Oakland. This is the property that the Moms for Housing movement has reclaimed, which had been sitting vacant for two years prior. As the Moms made clear, there are four times as many empty homes in Oakland as there are people without homes. Wedgewood owns hundreds of properties across the state, many of them financed by Bank of the West.
