Noel and Mei Ling Yi
Noel Yi and Mei Ling have owned and flipped about 100 properties in the Bay Area, and currently own approximately 30, most of which are vacant lots. After the Qilombo community group cleared one of Yi's trash-filled lots and created a community space on San Pablo in West Oakland, Yi is attempting to evict the Afrikatown Community Garden. Yi recently transferred two other lots on the same block to Flatlands Development Group in a development partnership.
